Shared Barossa Valley Wine Experience
A relaxed day in wine country with a local guide.

Why guests choose this experience:

• Pickup and return from your Barossa Valley accommodation
• Small groups with no more than five guests
• Boutique cellar doors and time to enjoy the scenery properly
• A generous charcuterie lunch included during the day
• Relaxed pacing with no rushing between wineries
• Hosted by Charles, a local guide who lives in the region

This tour is designed for guests already staying in the Barossa Valley. Instead of spending hours driving from Adelaide, you can begin the day already surrounded by vineyards and quiet country roads.

Travel in comfort with local guide Charles as you explore a mix of boutique wineries, scenic villages, and well-known Barossa sights. Some guests enjoy asking questions about the region’s history and early settlers, while others simply want a good day out with interesting wines and good company. The day naturally settles into whatever suits the group.

You should have time to visit four or five wineries, depending on the pace of the day and what the group is enjoying most. There is no strict script to follow and no feeling of being hurried through cellar doors just to keep to a timetable.

Lunch is a relaxed charcuterie-style spread at a welcoming winery, usually including local cheeses, meats, crackers, dried fruits, olives, dips, and other regional produce.

Most cellar doors charge tasting fees, usually around $10 per person, which are not included in the tour price.

Tours generally operate from 10 am until approximately 4 pm.

Like all professional South Australian tour guides, Valley Wine Tours operates chauffeur-plated vehicles and is fully licensed, accredited, and insured.
