This shared Clare Valley wine experience is designed for guests already staying in the region. Instead of spending half the day driving to wine country, you can begin the morning surrounded by vineyards and quiet country roads.

Travel with local guide Charles through the Clare Valley, visiting boutique cellar doors and some of the small towns that give the region its character. Some guests ask plenty of questions about local history and winemaking. Others simply settle into the day and enjoy the scenery, the conversation, and the wines.

You should have time to visit four or five wineries during the day, depending on what the group is enjoying most. There is no strict timetable and no feeling of being hurried through cellar doors just to stay on schedule.

Lunch is a relaxed charcuterie-style spread at a welcoming winery, usually including local cheeses, meats, crackers, dried fruits, olives, dips, and other regional produce.

Tasting fees at wineries, usually around $10 per person, are not included in the tour price, although these are often waived with purchase.

Tours generally operate from 10 am until approximately 5 pm.

Valley Wine Tours operates chauffeur-plated vehicles and is fully licensed, accredited, and insured.

A 20% deposit secures your booking, with final payment due 14 days before your tour. Full refunds apply for cancellations made more than 14 days before departure, or if the tour cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances.
